They will support the day‑to‑day operations of our drop‑in programs while building relationships and providing compassionate, non‑judgmental support to community members.



They will also support Centre activities for Reconciliation Month (July).This position is funded by a Canada Summer Jobs grant, and applicants must be a Canadian Resident between 18 and 30 (inclusive).Key Details:Start Date:June 8, 2026 — August 14, 2026Salary:$21/hourTime requirement:30 hours per week, 10‑week contractClosing Date:May 25, 2026Duties and Responsibilities:Drop‑in SupportBuild relationships with participantsCreate a welcoming atmosphere for everyone in the Drop‑InEnsure that the Drop‑In space is clean, well maintained and organizedBe fully informed of WCWRC activities, programming and staff in order to direct inquiries appropriatelyProvide support and referrals to vulnerable participants compassionately and non‑judgmentally while maintaining robust personal boundariesDrop‑in ProgramsPlan and facilitate events, workshops, celebrations and programs, including community events in partnership with other agencies, as identified with the teamSupport the creation and sharing of the monthly program calendarTrack and report on programs and initiatives implemented, including event summariesGuided by the WCWRC Reconciliation Committee, support planning and delivering programming, events and activities focusing on ReconciliationKnowledge,
