Position: Nutrition and Logistics Assistant Chance

Join Providence Care Hospital as a part time Nutrition and Logistics Assistant. You will assist in food preparation, delivery, and cleanliness while supporting patient needs.

This position requires you to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team. Your duties will involve food and nutrition preparation, portering clients, and using various equipment for meal delivery.

Experience with HACCP guidelines and a valid Ontario driver’s license is preferred to ensure high standards of food service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in centralized and decentralized meal service provision
Prepare food and maintain cleanliness of service areas
Operate food equipment and transport vehicles as needed




Perform inventory control and HACCP compliance checks
Drive clients to community appointments when assigned

Requirements
Minimum Grade 12 equivalency or equivalent education
Completion of National Food Safety Training preferred
Six months’ experience in institutional food services preferred
Valid Class G Ontario driver’s license;

Class F preferred
Experience with computerized systems
