We are looking for an Experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team in Ottawa (Orleans or Kanata office).

Responsibilities
Request and follow up with insurers and/or clients for outstanding information, endorsements or policy documentation.
Prepare proposals for renewals and new business.
Respond to telephone calls and written inquiries from clients and underwriters.
Work with the Client Executives and Client Service Managers in negotiating with Insurers and/or changes, renewals and current business where applicable.
Review policy wordings and other documentation for accuracy and completeness and as required, notes and corrects errors.
Create abeyance and follows up for outstanding items from underwriters, markets and clients.
Market own recent business and renewals when necessary.




Monitor and follow up on outstanding client’s receivables.
Create and streamline processes.

Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years industry related experience
Licensed designation required (RIBO)
Good knowledge of markets and their policy wordings
Robust verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work well independently, as part of a growing team
Good knowledge Applied EPIC and Policy Works
Effective time management and organizational skills
Customer focused and service oriented.
