Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team in a bustling restaurant setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and be knowledgeable about kitchen operations.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner options.
Follow recipes and presentation specifications to maintain consistency.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.

-Assist with menu planning and development, focusing on comfort foods and seasonal dishes.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and stocking supplies.
Work collaboratively with kitchen and serving staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
Receive and inspect deliveries to ensure quality and quantity meet club standards.
Assist in training and supporting junior kitchen staff.
Accommodate special dietary requests and food allergies as needed.

Qualifications
Must have valid mode of transportation.
Previous experience as a cook in a similar setting is an asset (country club, casual dining, etc.).
Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Solid organizational and time management skills.




Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Positive communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for long periods.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
Manual dexterity to operate kitchen equipment.
