You’ll work closely with product, operations, and senior team members to turn raw data into explicit insights and recommendations.This is a hands‑on role where you’ll contribute to dashboards, analyses, and reporting that inform decisions around game performance, player behavior, and platform improvements.What You'll DoSupport performance analysis across the portfolio, including game launches, platform updates, and promotional activityAssist in building pre/post analyses and help identify key drivers of revenue and performance changesDevelop and maintain Power BI dashboards, including basic data modeling and DAX measuresWrite SQL queries to extract, clean, and analyze data from internal systemsCreate clear deliverables in Excel, Power BI, and written summaries tailored to different stakeholdersContribute to player and location analysis, including segmentation and performance trackingCollaborate with team members to interpret results and translate data into actionable insightsApply structured thinking to analytical problems and support test design and evaluationUse AI tools (e.G., ChatGPT, Claude) to assist with analysis, documentation,
and workflow efficiencyWhat We're Looking For1–3 years of experience in data analysis or a related role (or strong internship/co‑op experience)Proficiency in SQL (joins, aggregations, basic window functions)Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.)Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data cleaning)Solid analytical and problem‑solving skillsAbility to communicate findings clearly in writing and verballyBachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.G., Statistics, Economics, Math, Computer Science, Engineering)Nice to HavesExperience in gaming, gambling, fintech, or other high‑volume data environmentsFamiliarity with DAX and data modeling concepts (e.G., star schema)Exposure to Python or RExperience working with large datasets (e.G., transactional, event‑level data)Interest in player behavior, game performance, or data‑driven product decisionsFamiliarity with tools for analytics workflows (Power BI, SQL, Excel, ChatGPT, Claude, along with internal data systems)Contract DetailsThis role is a 6‑month contract with a possibility of extension or transition to permanent employment status.Equal OpportunityPong Game Studios is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to fostering an inclusive, accessible workplace.
