Hatch Highways and Bridges group is currently seeking a talentedCo-Op Studentwith interests inHighway CAD Designfor the Fall 2026 semester. In this role, you will be based in ourMississaugaoffice and have the opportunity to work on high profile projects including a variety of highway planning and design assignments being undertaken on behalf of the Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO) or for municipalities throughout the Province of Ontario. and enthusiastic in the work and strive to add value where possible for the benefit of the company and our clients.You bring to the role:Currently enrolled in Civil Engineering Technology or Technician from an accredited College; Experience with AutoCAD; Working knowledge of Civil 3D, MicroStation or Open Roads Designer is an asset; Good technicaland communication skills are a necessity; Positive mindset and ability to collaborate in a team environment; Ability to complete assigned tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines.Competencies (knowledge, skill, attributes):Good understanding of engineering and business fundamentals as they apply to engineering problems and projects.Ability to learn quickly and to take on new challenges.Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Shows critical and creative thinking and problem solving and brings forward solutions for our clients' toughest challenges.Adapts and embraces change.Compensation:Range: $24.00 - $27.00At Hatch, we are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
