Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Job Requirements: All Terra Opus Group staff members need to be prepared to attend our Mount Albert yard location at 630am Monday to Friday. Occasional Saturday shifts may be required.

Responsibilities
Cut grass, fall and spring clean-ups and perform other maintenance duties as directed by foreman/supervisor/manager;
Follow all health & safety regulations including wearing appropriate protective equipment and following Safety Data Sheets (formerly MSDS) for safe handling of fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides and other dangerous chemicals;




Clean working areas and maintain tools and equipment.

Tools & Equipment:
Lawn mowing equipment, hedge shears, pruning saws, string & bush trimmers, power blowers, etc.
Hand tools such as shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, picks, pruning shears, handheld and hose-end sprayers, soil cultivators, etc.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Driving a pick up truck and covered trailer an asset but not required
Reading: WHMIS labels, equipment manuals, complete logs and incident reports, job · Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms, legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of materials
Ability to work in diverse weather conditions i.e. wet and/or humid conditions; hot or cold weather
