This relief position supports Indigenous students, blending cultural knowledge with educational assistance.
School District
No. 73 is seeking applicants for the Indigenous Education Worker Relief roster. Ideal candidates will have Indigenous ancestry, insight into culture and contemporary Indigenous issues, and experience working with children. This role requires travel to outlying communities and an understanding of Indigenous languages is beneficial. Key Responsibilities:
Provide educational support to Indigenous students
Assist both individual students and groups effectively
Travel to outlying communities as needed
Utilize knowledge of Indigenous culture and traditions
Deliver tailored support based on student needs Requirements:
Grade 12 with minimum one year post-secondary education
Two years of relevant work experience with children
Valid B.C. Driver's License
Indigenous language skills are preferred
