Join the team as a Maintenance Engineering Technologist in Hay River. Deliver vital technical support for infrastructure and highway maintenance projects throughout the region. Work within the Department of Infrastructure to facilitate engineering and technical services for capital and operational projects in the North Slave and South Slave areas.

Your responsibilities will include managing the Maintenance Management System, assisting with project delivery, and supporting the enforcement of the Public Highways Act. Collaborate on various engineering initiatives from minor tasks to significant capital projects, ensuring timely and productive service delivery. Key Responsibilities:
Support the Maintenance Management and Equipment Management Systems
Deliver engineering services for highway maintenance and upgrades




Revise and enhance highway maintenance standards in the NWT
Assist in surveying and developing technical documentation
Work collaboratively on diverse infrastructure initiatives Requirements:
Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology with 2 years of experience
Proficient in AutoCAD and related engineering software
Familiarity with construction practices and northern conditions
Possession of a valid Class 5 NWT Driver’s License or eligibility
