Make a difference at Nisga'a School District as a K–12 Itinerant Student Counsellor. Support student wellbeing through culturally responsive practices and team-oriented engagement across multiple schools. The Nisga'a School District No. 92 is looking for an itinerant student counsellor to enhance social-emotional wellbeing among K–12 students.

This role prioritizes respectful counselling within community-focused school environments and involves regular travel. You will promote mental health and resilience while working closely with school teams and families to address students' needs. Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counselling to K–12 students
Support mental health and positive coping strategies




Collaborate with schools addressing student challenges
Engage with families to foster student engagement
Maintain documentation compliant with ethical standards Requirements:
Valid BC Teaching Certificate for School Counselling
Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology or related field
Experience in providing counselling to youth
Knowledge of trauma-informed practices
Valid BC Driver’s Licence for travel Enhance student support through cooperative partnerships and culturally sensitive counselling at Nisga'a School District.
