Berg Industrial Service seeks a Controller to lead financial management in Mississauga, Ontario. This onsite role supports a $40 million HVAC company with accounting and reporting excellence. In this full time position, you will oversee the preparation and compliance of financial statements while ensuring rigorous internal controls.

Your role involves engaging with the operations team and ownership, driving informed decision-making and strategic planning through accurate job costing and financial reporting. You will also play a key role in mentoring the accounting team. Key Responsibilities:
Ensure timely preparation of financial reports and compliance
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis




Supervise internal financial controls and sales tax reporting
Lead the accounting team to enhance operational efficiency
Support management with insightful financial analysis

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Minimum 6 years of experience in finance roles
In-depth understanding of tax regulations and GAAP
Knowledge of ERP systems and financial software
Robust analytical and leadership abilities
