Schools is seeking two full time Learning Specialists to join the Indigenous Learning team in Airdrie. This role directly supports leaders and teachers, fostering inclusive education by integrating Indigenous perspectives into everyday practice. Ideal candidates will have a robust commitment to decolonization and a proven track record in educational settings. Key Responsibilities:
Support leaders and teachers in implementation of Indigenous practices
Collaborate with community Elders and Knowledge Keepers




Develop culturally relevant resources for K-12 education
Facilitate professional learning sessions for staff
Plan school-wide Indigenous programming and events Requirements:
Minimum 5 years recent classroom experience
Familiarity with Rocky View Schools Practice Guides
Ability to work from kindergarten to Grade 12
Eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate
