We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Kiehl’s family as a Store Manager. This position is responsible for leading and motivating store team to achieve sales growth and provide optimal customer service. As a Store Manager You Will
- Lead and drive the team to achieve store business objectives.
- Generate sales to achieve individual and collective sales target by applying outstanding service: Maximize selling prospect. Monitor customer service level at brand standard. Derive action plans with team for improvements.
- Keep track on Retail KPIs and prevailing market information. Identify business strengths, opportunities at store level and coordinate with retail and training team for actions to maximize selling opportunity.
- Manage store-controlled expenses to budget (staff efficiency planning, cleanings, and office materials orders), identifying opportunities to increase contribution.
- Be responsible for managing daily, weekly, monthly operations at point of sales (POS) activities:

- Is responsible for recruitment in partnership with Area Manager and HR including onboarding of new BA
- Motivates and inspire team to achieve store productivity objectives: provide weekly feedback, coach, and develop team member, Assess, and develop BAs’ competencies
- Ensures the individual and collective skills of the team are utilized effectively.
- Schedule the staff with efficiency
- Solve boutique operational issues with autonomy and develops positive neighborhood relationships
- Identify opportunities to drive traffic into the store through community and/or events
- Demonstrate expert product knowledge (features, benefits, usage) and application techniques. In-depth understanding on service excellence and brand expectation on best-in-class service.
- Drive the store quality comply with merchandising guidelines
What Do You Need To Succeed
- You are 18 years or older with a high school diploma
- You have 5+ years of specialty retail store management experience
- You have demonstrated success in driving sales by coaching and developing a team of direct reports
- You are entrepreneurial, resourceful, flexible, and can solve problems in a timely manner
- You possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- You have a thorough knowledge of the competitive landscape and can translate findings to positively impact business
- You have a passion for skincare and serving customers
- You are comfortable conducting skin care services on customers’ faces after being trained
- You have a flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- High School Diploma is required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Physical Environment: Must be able to work on the sales floor for extended periods, walk up and down a flight of stairs and/or ladder as necessary, and lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis
