It is imperative that all employees focus on efficiency, quality, continuous improvement, and most importantly, safety.What does the job involve?Primary functions of the Quality Engineers are to manage all internal and external quality issues, participate in all APQP activities, support all PPAP preparations and submissions, and perform audits as required.Specific duties include:Respond to and address all customer concerns associated with assigned programsUpdate and maintain CAR logReview customer Corrective Actions and submit to the customerImplement and monitor containment actions for all customer related issuesBuild a rapport with the customers to better understand quality needs - on occasion customer visits may be requiredParticipate in APQP process for new launches and take-over programsDevelop Control Plans and PFMEAsPrepare PPAP documentationsReview supplier PPAPs and follow up until full approval is achievedCoordinate GR&R studentsManage early launch containment (GP12)
