recipes and other menu document as providedProviding for prescribed diets, at appropriate temperatures and in portion controlled quantitiesMonitoring quality of food supplies received and advises team leader of problems and makes recommendations about corrective actionIn the absence of the team leader, assumes responsibility for departmental operations including enu changes as necessary, requisitions and purchases food and other supplies from authorized suppliersAssisting in the orientation and training of new team membersPerforming other duties as assignedMust haves:Grade 12 minimum education requiredA valid Safe Food Handling Certificate and/or Smart Serve certificateExperience with cooking in institutional, health care, restaurant, or hospitalityDemonstrates a positive attitude necessary to meet the goals and standards of the residenceYou must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work permitYou must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check and/or Criminal Record Check applicable to the appropriate provinceAdditional qualifications that would be considered an asset:Graduate of a recognized college food preparation program and willing to Red Seal certifySiennaSeniorLivingiscommittedtocreatinganinclusiveenvironmentwhereallteammembersandresidents feellikethey belong.We seek applicants withawiderange ofabilities andwe provideanaccessiblecandidateexperienceSienna Senior Living may utilize artificial intelligence to screen and assess applicants for this position.Act upon your desire to help others and Join Sienna Senior Living as we continue to enhance the lives of those we serve.#J-18808-Ljbffr
