Health & Safety Specialist Etobicoke, ON — Fully In office $65,000–$80,000, based on experience Our client is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Specialist to lead workplace safety programs within a fast-paced industrial environment. This is a hands-on role focused on compliance, risk management, training, incident investigation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities - Own and continuously improve the organization's Health & Safety program.
Ensure compliance with applicable OHS legislation and regulatory requirements.
Maintain and support the WSIB Health & Safety Excellence Program.
Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations.
Develop and deliver safety training, orientations and communications.
Coordinate Joint Health & Safety Committee activities.
Identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
Maintain safety documentation, records and reporting.
Support internal and external audits and Ministry of Labour inspections.
Partner with operational leadership to strengthen the overall safety culture.





Requirements - 5+ years of hands on Health & Safety experience with ownership of safety programs.
Experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution or manufacturing environments.
Working knowledge of the WSIB Health & Safety Excellence Program is required.
OHS designation/certification is a strong asset.
Strong knowledge of Ontario occupational health & safety legislation.
Advanced Excel skills, including formulas and spreadsheet development.
Solid communication, investigation and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver's licence and ability to travel between facilities as required. This is a senior-level prospect for an established Health & Safety professional with proven experience independently managing safety programs in an industrial setting.
