Ensure environmental regulations are upheld at 14 airports and related maritime infrastructures. As the Environmental Specialist reporting to the Environmental Coordinator, you will play a critical role in maintaining compliance and managing environmental risks across the region.

This hybrid position involves audits, training, and emergency preparedness, helping to foster a culture of environmental accountability within the Transportation Department. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct annual environmental inspections across KRG facilities
Manage contaminated soils and oversee remediation projects
Train staff on hazardous material handling and disposal




Plan and conduct environmental emergency exercises
Participate in environmental committees and programs Requirements:
Degree in environmental studies or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in an environmental role
Robust oral and written communication skills
Understanding of Northern Aboriginal issues is an asset
