This position emphasizes the planning and organization of the Development Engineering Section. Successful candidates will have substantial management experience and a degree in civil engineering or a related field, ensuring high standards in development proposals. Key Responsibilities:
Guide planning efforts within the Development Engineering Section
Review and assess development proposals for city projects
Coordinate activities with local government and community stakeholders




Ensure engineering practices meet regulatory requirements
Provide leadership and technical direction to staff

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field
5+ years of relevant supervisory experience
Eligibility for engineering membership in BC
Possess a valid Class 5 BC Driver's Licence
Excellent judgement and problem-solving skills
