Lead the electromechanical team at the City of Maple Ridge as a Trades Supervisor. Supervise skilled staff in technical servicing, repair, and maintenance while ensuring compliance with safety and city standards. As a Trades Supervisor, you will oversee the work of skilled trades staff and coordinate contractor activities.

This full time position requires technical expertise in electrical and mechanical systems, along with the ability to facilitate training and support for your team. Ensure that all maintenance and construction tasks are completed efficiently and safely while addressing any public service issues that arise. Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and evaluate skilled trades staff and contractors
Provide on-the-job training and technical guidance




Prepare schedules and monitor compliance with city standards
Investigate service issues and initiate corrective actions
Maintain records and requisition materials for municipal facilities Requirements:
Grade 12 and completed electromechanical apprenticeship
Red Seal Electrician Certification required
Class A FSR Certificate of Qualification
Class 5 Driver’s License for British Columbia
