Larouche Campeau & Associés S.E.N.C. (LCA) is seeking a Structural Designer to support the design and development of building structure projects as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team. The position is based in Montreal, Quebec, serving clients across the National Capital Region, Outaouais, and the Greater Montreal area.
LCA is an engineering consulting firm specializing in mechanical, electrical, structural engineering, and energy efficiency. Recognized for its technical rigor and client-focused approach, LCA delivers tailored engineering solutions to public and private sector clients, from concept development through construction.
Responsibilities and Required Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Structural Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in structural building design
- Experience in steel, concrete, wood, and masonry structural systems
- Preparing structural drawings, details, and construction documents
- Assisting with structural analysis and design calculations
- Developing 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD and/or REVIT
- Coordinating with mechanical, electrical, and architectural teams
- Participating in site visits and field reviews as required
- Experience preparing technical documentation and reports
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (French required; bilingualism an asset)
- Robust attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
