We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as Summer Student at our equestrian facility just south of the city of Calgary. The individual will work closely with the Facility Manager and complete tasks related to the oversight of daily operations of the facility. This role is well suited to individuals who enjoy working outside in a country environment completing a variety physical tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include and not be limited to the following:

- Contributing to the clean and efficient operation of the property
- Assisting with the general maintenance and cleaning of the buildings, fences and fields. Some examples including sweeping buildings, cutting grass, and painting.
- Positively interacting with clients and vendors
- Other duties as assigned

SKILLS:
- Ability to perform heavy lifting including lifting hay bales
- Knowledge of farming and landscaping
- General maintenance and repair skills and experience in a ranch environment
- Solid attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately




- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team or independently

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: To meet the challenge of this role, we are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, self-starter who works well with a high level of autonomy.
- Experience driving farm equipment including tractors, ATVs, and power tools
- Valid Driver’s License
