Chef / Prep Cook (Full-Time)

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Chef / Prep Cook to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role that combines food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations in a fast-paced commercial kitchen environment.

Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
Complete daily food prep efficiently and accurately.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
Ensure proper food handling and food safety practices at all times.
Assist with inventory, stock rotation, and receiving deliveries.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Help with catering and large-volume food production as required.

Requirements
Previous experience working in a kitchen is required.
Experience as both a chef and prep cook.
Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations.
Valid FoodSafe Level 1 Certificate (required).
Experience in hospitality, catering, restaurant, or institutional food service. (Would be a bonus)




Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle (Preferred).
Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently in a quick-paced setting.
Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with high-volume meal production.
Catering experience is an asset.
