Join us and help build the future of mission‑critical video systems.For more information, please visit our website:wolfadvancedtechnology.ComAbout the OpportunityWOLF Advanced Technology is looking fora full‑time Engineer, Hardware Design Verificationbased inAurora, Ontario .Reporting to the Senior Manager, Design Verification Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing verification strategies that ensure WOLF’s embedded hardware systems meet functional, performance, and reliability requirements across the product development lifecycle.In this position, you will be primarily responsible for verifying complex hardware designs, bringing up prototypes, diagnosing functional issues, and collaborating with engineering teams to support smooth product integration and validation.More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:Developing and executing verification plans aligned with product specifications and requirementsDesigning and running test cases while maintaining verification coverage and regression testing processesBringing up prototypes and conducting electrical characterization, environmental qualification,



and system‑level testingDiagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and functional issues to refine verification workflowsCollaborating with design, systems, and validation teams to define verification strategies and coverage goalsDocumenting verification procedures, results, and reports to maintain traceability and complianceMentoring junior engineers and supporting verification best practices across the teamContributing to test automation initiatives and continuous improvement across the engineering development processTo read the full position description, please click here.About YouTo qualify, you will needa Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineeringor a related field (or equivalent experience), along with5+ years of hands‑on hardware design verification and debugging experience with FPGA, MPSoC, or GPU‑based embedded systems.You will also bring strong proficiency using lab equipment such asoscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and digital multimeters (DMMs), along with the ability to interpret hardware schematics .Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:Demonstrated experience performing hardware bring‑up and validation from schematic review through system‑level integration, including debugging complex embedded systemsExperience with high‑speed video interfaces such as SMPTE 3G‑SDI or 12G‑SDI, DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI, DVI, or similar high‑bandwidth interfacesFamiliarity with serial communication protocols, including UART, SPI, and I2C, within embedded hardware environmentsStrong understanding of schematic reviews, PCB layout constraints, and hardware debugging using schematics and layout tools, with Cadence experience (asset)Knowledge of power measurement, thermal testing, and signal integrity considerations in high‑performance embedded systemsExperience working with environmental and reliability standards, including MIL‑STD‑810 and environmental cycling chambers (asset)Understanding of hardware–software interaction, including firmware‑assisted diagnostics and low‑level driver validation within embedded platformsAs our ideal candidate,
