Our I2CARE values ensures that we, as a work community, treat all with, inclusivity, innovation, collaboration, accessibility respect and equity.As an employer, we strive for excellence as a workplace and are committed to building a workforce that enhances our capacity to meet the needs of the diverse communities we serve.Fund Development CoordinatorFull Time, Permanent (35 hours/week)Reports To: Director, Fund Development and CommunicationsKey ResponsibilitiesAssist in development and implementation of fundraising campaigns, events and initiatives.Monitor third‑party events and document in‑kind donations through community drives for food, clothing, or hygiene items.Assist in research, writing and management of compelling grant proposals that align with SCHC’s strategic goals, tracking deadlines and reporting to funders.StewardshipSupport the development and delivery of donor engagement plans.Provide excellent customer service as the first point of contact for all inquiries and donations.Input and maintain CRM for receipting, reporting and data analysis.Development Communications and MarketingWork closely with the Communications Team on developing donor communications, recognition and impact reporting.Produce impact‑driven client and donor stories and media to promote fundraising activities on SCHC’s various media channels, including external newsletters and in annual reports.Contribute to the production of impact reports and targeted email campaigns,



sharing the outcomes of SCHC’s programs and inspiring continued support from the donor community.QualificationsMinimum 2 years of experience in fundraising.Post‑secondary degree or graduate certificate in fund development, grant writing, or a related field required.Experience working within the not‑for‑profit or healthcare sector is an asset.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Experience processing financial transactions (i.E., donations, cash, cheques, credit cards) with accuracy and confidentiality.Working knowledge of a CRM (preferably Donor Perfect).Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to craft compelling messages.Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy office setting.Written and verbal fluency in languages beyond English is an asset.Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently.Commitment to SCHC’s mission, ability to work with diverse populations, and understanding of cultural sensitivity in Scarborough neighbourhoods.Subject to police reference check as per organization policy.Remuneration:$26.37 - $29.78Pay band:HSCHC offers an inclusive environment and encourages applications from historically disadvantaged and marginalized groups, including First Nations, Metis, Inuit peoples, racialized persons, newcomers, persons with disabilities, and those identifying as women and/or LGBTQ2S+.SCHC is committed to providing a barrier‑free environment for all stakeholders and will provide accommodations to applicants with disabilities throughout the recruitment, selection and/or assessment process.We welcome applications from individuals who are legally eligible to work in Canada.
