This is an exciting prospect for an experienced leader who thrives in a fast‑paced production environment and enjoys coaching teams, driving efficiency, and improving operations.The successful candidate will oversee approximately 30 employees within the sewing department and play a key role in ensuring production targets, quality standards, safety requirements, and operational goals are achieved daily.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and support approximately 30 production employees in the sewing departmentReview and coordinate daily production schedules and staffing requirementsConduct daily team meetings and communicate production expectationsEnsure production targets, GMP standards, quality requirements, and safety expectations are metMonitor KPIs including quality, safety, productivity,



and scrap reductionIdentify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actionsSupport continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiativesCoach, mentor, and develop employees to strengthen team performanceAssist with performance management and succession planningAct as a liaison between employees and management while supporting workplace changesQualifications & RequirementsMinimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or similar production environmentHands‑on leadership style with strong teamwork skillsExperience working in a unionized environment is a strong assetKnowledge of CBA (Collective Bargaining Agreements)Experience using MRP/ERP systemsProficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practicesStrong problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skillsExcellent communication and leadership abilitiesAssociate’s degree and/or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s degreepreferredMust pass a criminal background checkValid passport requiredMust live locally to the Vaughan area#J-18808-Ljbffr
