A well established property management group has just taken on a Class A office tower in downtown Calgary and needs an Operations Supervisor to help run the building. You'll be working alongside an existing leader who oversees a larger team of operators across the portfolio, so there's real depth of experience to lean on and plenty of room to grow into.Your new roleYou'll be responsible for the day to day operations of a downtown high rise, leading a small team of two operators while supporting the broader operations group across other assets. The building runs on Siemens so familiarity with that platform will get you up to speed quickly. Beyond the usual preventative maintenance, tenant requests and contractor management, the person stepping into this role will have a real say in how things get done. New ideas, better processes and smarter ways of working are genuinely welcomed here, not just talked about. There's also the opportunity to move around and cross train across the portfolio if that interests you.What you’ll need to succeedThe right person for this role is someone who’s curious about building operations and wants to keep learning. There are two types of operators out there,



the ones who plod along and the ones who ask why things work the way they do. This client is looking for the second type. You'll have solid technical knowledge in building operations, hands on experience with Siemens controls and a track record of leading a small team through the usual mix of staffing pressures, aging equipment and tenant demands. If you’ve introduced new processes or procedures in past roles and can talk about what worked and what didn’t, that’s exactly the kind of thinking they want. 4th or 5th class ABSA is required.What you get in returnBase salary up to $100,000 depending on experience, 6% annual bonus, 3 weeks vacation to start, seven personal/sick days, benefits and RSP matching at 3%. The work day is 7.5 hours with flexible start times and on call rotates one in four.
