Essential components of this position include a high degree of expertise in decision‑making, creativity, interpersonal skills and professional development. The Certified Orthotist provides clinical leadership particularly in complex cases and has the knowledge, skill and judgment needed to provide competent, evidence‑informed care. The energetic environment requires the Certified Orthotist to work autonomously as well as collaboratively with other health care professionals to solve challenging clinical issues. The Certified Orthotist supports the development of students and colleagues through acting as a preceptor and providing ongoing mentorship. The Certified Orthotist will attend clinics, rounds,
