The Music Associate plays a key role in shaping the musical experience at Village Church. This role is responsible for creating and executing music for Sunday services, special events, and creative projects—using both existing and original content. With a strong focus on team-building, this person equips and leads volunteers to deliver excellent, distraction-free worship experiences.Work Week:20 hrs/weekSundays, regular midweek rehearsals, and occasional extra evenings for special events.Regular mid-week office hoursKey ResponsibilitiesBuild and manage all music tracks and Ableton sessions for services and eventsMusic direct and/or play in bands for Sunday services and special eventsLead rehearsals and ensure musical excellence across all environmentsTrain, equip, and support volunteer musicians through workshops and one-on-one developmentHelp recruit, assess, and onboard current volunteersSupport and develop musicians within Next Generation ministriesMaintain Ableton Live, ProPresenter, and music file systemsEnsure accuracy of lyrics, MIDI triggers, and arrangementsHelp maintain music spaces, studios, and equipmentContribute to a positive,
