We have an exciting opportunity for aControllerto join our growing team!The opportunity for youAs Controller, you’ll play a key role in shaping financial discipline and supporting the continued growth of a purpose-driven Canadian brand.The Finance Department plays a critical role in supporting AG’s strategic growth and long-term success. As Controller, you will lead the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting functions while ensuring strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, and financial integrity across the organization. This role partners closely with the VP, Finance and partners with cross‑functional leaders to support sound decision-making and operational excellence.You’ll be responsible forEnsures timely and accurate recording and reporting on all financial mattersDevelops, approves and implemented internal accounting policies, procedures and controlsAssigns tasks and projects to staff and supervising month-end proceduresManages the annual year-end financial review with external accountantsDirects and prepares fiscal operational budgetsOversees/audits yearly standard costing processLiaises with external parties on tax and regulatory mattersProvides solid leadership and building team effectiveness through ongoing communication, participation in decision making and development of skillsConducts performance management, coaching,



and team development initiatives in accordance with People & Culture DepartmentAssists in the formulation and development of the Finance Department’s annual strategic plan in collaboration with the VP, FinanceWhat you offerCPA Designation – CA, CGA, CMA or equivalentCompletion of bachelor's degree in business, accounting or financeExperienced finance leader with a minimum of five years or more of professional experience in the management of finance and administrationExperience in consumer goods, manufacturing and inventory‑based businesses is an assetStrong communication, problem‑solving, leadership and technical proficiencyDemonstrated ability to work independently, motivate and manage people and use sound practical judgementWorking at AGWe’re looking for talented individuals to grow with us! The salary range for this role is $95,000 - $125,000 per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job‑related knowledge, skills and experience.
