– Join our Applied Solutions team and play an active role in delivering major projects. As a Site Supervisor , you will play a key role in the field by ensuring the coordination, safety, and quality execution of complex projects within the mining and industrial sectors.

WSP is seeking a Site Supervisor to join its Applied Solutions team based in Moncton .

The Site

Supervisor will work closely with the project team and ensure the successful execution of project activities. The successful candidate will be involved in areas such as environmental remediation, civil engineering, water treatment, mine closure projects, and others. The selected candidate will supervise projects that may be located throughout the province of Quebec. As a result, this position requires frequent travel and, at times, rotational work schedules.

The Site Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating activities on our construction sites and supervising all personnel on site, including subcontractor staff. More specifically, the Site Supervisor’s responsibilities include:

Ensure and document the supervision of construction activities on site...

Organize and direct subcontractors and suppliers...

Liaise with project managers, consultants and designers...

Effectively resolve issues encountered on site...

Provide project managers with updates on field work progress and forecast trends.

The skills that set you apart

College diploma (DEC)



in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, or another equivalent technical discipline;

5 to 7 years of experience in a similar site supervision role;

Relevant experience in mining, site remediation, demolition and/or infrastructure projects;

Strong leadership, organizational and field team management skills;

Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

French language proficiency is considered an asset;

Availability to work on construction sites, on rotational schedules, and travel frequently throughout Quebec;

Valid driver’s licence.

Compensation

AB,BC, NT, NU, SK & YK: $147 500 – 195 400

MB & ON: $134 600 – 184 600

NB, NL, NS, PEI& QC: $133 200 – 176 900

The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
