In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating trucks, transporting materials, and supporting daily production activities while maintaining a high standard of safety and efficiency.Your Day-to-DayPerform daily pre-operational checks and attend daily safety meetingsComplete mandatory pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and equipment inspectionsSafely operate all required vehicles and equipment as required and qualifiedMonitor production activities and complete daily inspection and reporting requirementsIdentify, report, and correct hazards in the workplaceWear and maintain a respirator in accordance with company policies and Occupational Health and Safety requirementsMaintain professionalism when interacting with team members, supervisors, and customersClean motor vehicles and mobile equipment regularly to control dust (inside and outside the cab)Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work workplace and equipmentCommunicate effectively and follow direction while contributing as a team playerPerform physically demanding work, including lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, crouching, climbing,



and repetitive movements throughout the workdayNight shift including weekends and holidays as needed to meet operational requirementsContinuously monitor equipment condition and changing site conditionsMaintain accurate electronic Hours of Service logs and vehicle inspection recordsWork in accordance with all internal, client and regulated health and safety policies, procedures and/or regulations, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Perform other related duties as assignedYou Are a Good Fit If You HaveRequiredValid AZ or DZ Driver’s License with a clean CVOR abstractMinimum one (1) year of experience driving commercial vehiclesStrong commitment to safety and teamworkConsidered An AssetMinimum one (1) year of experience operating a loaderSurface Miner Common Core certificationExperience working in construction, aggregates, or mining environmentsHigh school diploma or equivalentSkills & AbilitiesAbility to work on Vale property and successfully complete required training and certificationExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including effectively communicate with internal and external customersKnowledge of loading requirements, techniques,
