Choices Markets in the lower mainland is looking for a passionate and knowledgeable professional to lead our Wellness Department.The Wellness Department Manager is responsible for the overall appearance, efficiency, team leadership, and financial performance of the Wellness Department, including vitamins, supplements, and health and beauty products. This is a hands-on leadership role that balances customer service, team development, inventory management, merchandising, and sales performance. A passion for holistic wellness and helping others is essential.Key Responsibilities:Deliver and model exceptional, knowledgeable customer service and respond professionally to customer inquiriesMaintain a clean, organized, fully stocked, and visually appealing Wellness DepartmentManage inventory, purchasing, and stock levels using sales data, movement reports, and customer trendsMaintain strong product knowledge, including vendors, brands, promotions, and current or emerging wellness productsRequest, evaluate, merchandise, feature, or discontinue products based on sales performance and customer feedbackEnsure products featured in flyers, promotions, and supplier programs are adequately stocked and displayedCreate engaging displays, re-merchandise sections, and use in-store promotions and suggestive selling to drive salesCollaborate with vendors,



Choices Markets Head Office, store leadership, and other locations on events and initiativesLead, train, coach, and schedule department team members in alignment with Choices Markets standardsMonitor department performance, staffing levels, and labour needs in partnership with store managementOperate a till and support other departments as requiredWhat We’re Looking For:Passion for organic food, natural medicine, and holistic wellnessExperience in a retail wellness environment or related fieldProven leadership ability with experience coaching and mentoring othersStrong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skillsDependable, energetic, and team-oriented work ethicAbility to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced retail environmentOpen availability, including evenings and weekendsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsExperience & Education:Minimum 3 years of experience managing peopleRetail management experience considered an assetExperience in a wellness-related industry considered an assetRegistered Holistic Nutritionist or equivalent credentials preferredStrong knowledge of vitamins and supplements preferred, with a willingness to learnEducation in a related field is an asset#J-18808-Ljbffr
