Overview

We are seeking a Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure workplace for our clients, employees, and visitors.

Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be able to pass a criminal record check.

This position is a casual position. This position will work weekends and varied other assigned shifts including evenings and overnights.

Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to ensure the safety of the premises.
Respond promptly to incidents, aiding as necessary.
Enforce rules and AGLC regulations to maintain order and safety within the facility.
Prepare detailed reports on security incidents.
Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients, employees, and visitors.
Operate Casino Gift Shop as required





Qualifications We are willing to train for this role.
Previous experience in security is an asset.
Familiarity with surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems is an asset.
Robust observational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Cash handling experience an asset.
