Reporting to the Senior Manager, Payroll and Time Capture and collaborating closely with the Payroll Manager, you will lead a team of payroll systems administrators and play a key role in the ongoing improvement of JDE HCM/Payroll software solutions that touch every part of Ledcor’s business. If you are a detail-oriented payroll systems professional who thrives in a complex, high-volume environment — we want to hear from you.Come and join our True Blue team in Vancouver, BC or Edmonton, AB today!ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIESJDE Payroll SupportSupport the payroll team in troubleshooting end-to-end, full cycle payroll and year-end processesCreate, test, and document new payroll IDs, union tables, premiums, new earnings/deduction/benefits, and accrual codesIdentify system issues, assess impacts, and validate resultsLead and guide the team in the analysis, planning, testing, and deployment of Vertex and ESU updatesPerform reviews of monthly payroll Integrity reports and investigate unreconciled items and differences between payroll registers and tax formsCoordinate team to build advanced payroll reports in DAS for internal and external payroll reporting requirementsPerform regular audits of payroll data in JDE Payroll, InEight, and other payroll systemsProvide regular training for Payroll Administrators and ongoing support to the teamPayroll Projects SupportProvide functional support for projects and systems that integrate with JDE Payroll and timesheet systems,
streamlining processes to ensure maximum efficiencyMonitor the needs of the payroll JDE system and advise the Senior Manager on requirements for changes, enhancements, or service improvementsSupport all upgrade projects for the payroll systemSupport the HRIS team in testing integration updates and existing/new benefits in JDECollaborate with HR, IS, LR, and other stakeholders on various projects, providing timely updates and adhering to established timelinesTeam Lead & DevelopmentWork closely with the Payroll Senior Manager to develop ongoing training and development opportunities that enhance the team’s technical skills and knowledgeLead and coordinate the work of payroll systems administratorsSupport team hires and terminations, providing feedback to the Senior ManagerMonitor team performance and productivity, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions when necessaryMay perform other related duties as assignedREQUIREMENTSMinimum 6 years’ experience in a similar payroll systems roleMinimum 4 years of ERP payroll system experience; strong preferencefor JDE in-house payroll in a high-volume, multi-company environmentCollege, Trade, or Technical Diploma (2-year) in Payroll, Accounting, or IT; JD Edwards EnterpriseOne experience requiredPayroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation preferredExpert-level technical skills in MS Excel (advanced formulas, data manipulation, macros)Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with particular attention to quality, detail, and follow-throughSound understanding of government legislation, collective agreements,
