The Opportunity The Opportunity:Reporting into the Manager, Infrastructure Engineering, the Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for thedesign and project management of municipal infrastructure projects with a focus on linear and verticalinfrastructure and water and wastewater systems, including water storage and distribution systems,wastewater collection and disposal systems, and treatment systems.



This role may also assist in the designand project management of other projects in the Engineering & Public Works (EPW) department of the District,such as roads and/ or waste management. Projects may be capital or operational in nature and while the PM isexpected to have functional expertise, may be required to work cross-departmentally to support all projectsunderway across the corporationThis is an opportunity to take ownership of a range of municipal infrastructure projects with a focus ondelivering meaningful improvements to core community assets. The Project Manager (PM) will reportdirectly to the Manager, Infrastructure Engineering, and will be responsible for the project management ofcapital municipal infrastructure projects. There will be a primary focus on linear infrastructure (roads andassociated underground systems such as watermains, storm and sanitary sewers), and verticalinfrastructure (pumping stations, water and wastewater treatment facilities), as well as transportationstructures (culverts and bridges). Additionally, this role may also assist in the project management ofcross-departmental projects within the Engineering & Public Works department of the District. The PM isexpected to bring strong technical expertise
