Independent Sales Contractor
to spearhead bean sales across B2B channels and bring our exceptional Cameroonian-sourced green coffee and raw cocoa to buyers who share our passion for quality and origin. This is your chance to be a frontline ambassador for a co-operative that stands for something real. In this role, you will represent and sell the co-operative's premium green coffee beans and raw cocoa beans to a diverse portfolio of buyers — including specialty roasters, artisan chocolatiers, food manufacturers, exporters, distributors, and wholesale partners — both within Canada and across international markets. You will work at the intersection of commodity trading and relationship-led sales, leveraging your market knowledge, existing network, and entrepreneurial drive to grow revenue and build lasting commercial partnerships on behalf of our farming community. This is a

Identify, prospect, and close recent B2B sales opportunities for
green coffee beans and raw cocoa beans
— across wholesale,
export, and specialty market channels Build and manage a robust sales pipeline targeting roasters, chocolatiers, food manufacturers, exporters, co-packers, and distributors — locally in Canada and across international markets Develop and maintain long-term client relationships, serving as the
primary point of contact
for assigned accounts and ensuring a consistently high standard of commercial partnership Negotiate pricing, quantities, delivery terms, and contract conditions in alignment with company guidelines and commodity market benchmarks — including awareness of
ICE/NY futures pricing and differential structures Achieve and consistently
exceed agreed monthly and quarterly
sales volume and revenue targets Conduct market intelligence — monitor commodity price movements, competitor activity, buyer demand trends, and seasonal crop dynamics specific to Cameroonian-sourced coffee and cocoa Represent Coffee and Cocoa Vista at
trade shows, agricultural expos, food and beverage industry events , and buyer meetings, projecting the co-operative's values with professionalism and pride Collaborate closely with the operations and logistics team to ensure timely order fulfilment, accurate documentation,
and high client satisfaction at every stage of the supply chain Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activity, client information, and pipeline status using
CRM tools Provide regular, structured performance reports to the co-operative's management team, flagging risks and opportunities proactively Uphold Coffee and Cocoa Vista's core values of
ethical sourcing, fair trade, and community partnership
in every client interaction — because how we sell matters as much as what we sell Qualifications
Proven track record in
B2B commodity sales, agricultural product sales, or food & beverage wholesale
— minimum 3 years of relevant experience Solid knowledge of coffee and/or cocoa supply chains, bean grades, and quality standards — including cupping scores, fermentation, moisture content — and familiarity with certifications such as
Fairtrade, organic, and Rainforest Alliance Strong negotiation and closing skills with demonstrable experience handling
large-volume commercial contracts Excellent interpersonal and relationship-management skills — comfortable engaging C-suite buyers, procurement managers, and international trade partners Self-motivated, results-driven, and fully capable of working
independently without day-to-day supervision
— you own your schedule and your results Proficiency with
CRM software
and standard office and communication tools Strong written and verbal communication skills in
English
— French proficiency is a significant advantage given Canada's official bilingual status (English and French) Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a
commission-based or performance-rewarded environment
