- Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.)

- Assign sales workers to duties

- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff

- Authorize payments by cheque

- Order merchandise

- Authorize return of merchandise

- Establish work schedules

- Sell merchandise

- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters

- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages

- Organize and maintain inventory

- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers

- Manage cash

- Oversee payroll administration

- Conduct performance reviews

- Supervise office and volunteer staff

Requirements

- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in any field.

- Must have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, supervising at least 1–2 people, with experience in a retail store.





- Must be willing to work onsite in a rural area.

- Must be willing to provide a Criminal Record Check.

- Must be able to work in a rapid-paced environment,

work under pressure, demonstrate attention to detail, perform a combination of sitting,

standing, and walking, and stand for extended periods.

- Must be accurate, client-focused,

have efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility,

be organized, reliable, a team player, dependable,

have excellent written communication, demonstrate initiative and judgement, and have the ability to multitask.

- Must be able to communicate in English.
