About us

DataViva Consulting is a North Vancouver–based firm providing financial consulting, business intelligence, and data analytics services. We are expanding our consulting practice into the transportation and logistics sector and are looking for a Supply Chain & Logistics Analyst to deliver specialized, data-driven consulting services to our clients.

About the role

You will work directly with our clients' logistics operations — analyzing freight and carrier performance, building KPI dashboards, standardizing processes, and helping their teams run more reliable supply chains. This is a hands-on analyst role that combines operational logistics knowledge with an analytics-driven consulting approach, performed fully remotely from within British Columbia.

What you'll do

Analyze client transportation and logistics operations (freight volumes, carrier performance, delivery reliability) using TMS and related data sources

Develop and maintain performance dashboards and KPI reporting frameworks (on-time delivery, transit variances, service exceptions)

Conduct root-cause analysis of operational failures, cargo shortages, and damages, with structured case documentation

Design, document, and implement Standard Operating Procedures for client logistics workflows

Deliver training programs and workshops to client operations teams

Prepare and present monthly operational reports with findings and recommendations

Advise on the configuration and effective use of TMS and EDI systems

Support continuous improvement initiatives applying Lean / Six Sigma methodologies

What you bring

Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, logistics, or a related field (MBA an asset)

5+ years of progressive experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations, ideally in 3PL environments

Hands-on proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and EDI platforms

Advanced Excel skills and experience building KPI reporting and dashboards

Lean / Six Sigma training an asset

Robust analytical, documentation, and client communication skills; ability to work independently in a fully remote environment

Must be based in British Columbia and legally entitled to work in Canada

Compensation & benefits

$44,850 per year (30 hours per week, permanent position)

Two weeks of paid annual vacation and statutory holidays, as per the BC Employment Standards Act

CPP and EI employer contributions and WorkSafeBC coverage

Fully remote within BC, Pacific Time business hours

How to apply

- Submit your resume through LinkedIn or to [email protected]. We thank all applicants for their interest; only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
