LUS Brands

Mississauga

LUS Brands (“Love Ur Self”) is a Toronto-based DTC (direct-to-consumer) hair care brand that’s backed by Y Combinator, Sound Ventures, Comcast and other notable VCs and angel investors.

Since launching in 2017, we have shipped over 10 million bottles of our innovative hair care products to consumers with curly hair worldwide and earned thousands of 5-star reviews. Our mission is as simple as the products we create: to encourage people to genuinely love and accept themselves so that their unique beauty can shine through.

At LUS, success starts with the right mindset. We’re committed to bringing on individuals who see possibilities instead of limitations. We’re looking for team members who embrace change, take ownership of their results, and view challenges as opportunities.

We value resilience, self-motivation, and the determination to turn a “no” into a “not yet.” You bring energy, lead with a growth mindset, trust in your ability to create opportunities and take action to achieve your goals. If you’re passionate about planning and forecasting, eager to solve problems, and driven to keep the business running smoothly, we want to hear from you!

About the Role In this key role, you will report to the General Manager and own the planning process that keeps LUS Brands in stock and ready to grow — from demand forecasting and inventory planning, through supply and production planning with our manufacturing and packaging partners, to assortment and launch planning across our sales channels. You will turn sales trends and growth targets into accurate forecasts, make sure the right inventory is in the right place at the right time, and work cross-functionally to plan and optimize inventory across our supply chain.

Your mission is to make sure we never run out of the products our customers love, without tying up cash in excess inventory.

You Will:

- Own demand forecasting across all SKUs and channels, building and maintaining forecast models based on historical sales, trends, seasonality, and the marketing/promotional calendar.
- Develop and maintain inventory plans that balance service levels against carrying costs — setting reorder points, safety stock levels, and replenishment schedules across warehouses and 3PLs.
- Translate demand forecasts into supply and production plans, partnering with our internal Purchasing & Production team to ensure raw materials, packaging, and finished goods are available to meet demand.
- Monitor production schedules and supply timelines, proactively flagging risks — delays, capacity constraints, material shortages — and adjusting plans to avoid stockouts or excess inventory.
- Responsible for assortment and launch planning; partnering with Marketing and Product Development to align inventory buys with launch timing and sell-through targets for new products and SKU changes.
- Track and report on key planning metrics — forecast accuracy, inventory turns, fill rate, and days of supply — providing regular visibility to leadership and recommending corrective action.
- Partner with Finance to align planning assumptions with budgets, cash flow, and overall business goals.
- Continuously improve planning processes and tools,

identifying opportunities to increase forecast accuracy and streamline the sales & operations planning (S&OP;) cycle.

You Have:

- 3-5+ years of experience in demand planning, inventory planning, supply chain planning, or a related role, ideally within Beauty, CPG, or DTC/e-commerce.
- This is an in-office role located at our facility in Mississauga, ON.
- Demonstrated experience building demand forecasts and inventory plans, and translating them into supply and production plans.
- Experience with S&OP; processes and cross-functional planning cycles is a strong asset.
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Google G-suite products, with strong knowledge of Excel; experience with planning, ERP, or inventory management software is a strong asset.
- Strong analytical aptitude with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate forecasts, risks, and recommendations to cross-functional teams.
