We are seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Supply Childcare Staff member to join our Montessori daycare team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and wants to support a warm, respectful, and nurturing learning environment.

Key Duties:

- Provide coverage and support in various classrooms as needed.
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities.
- Support the Montessori classroom environment and daily routines.
- Assist with meals, snacks, toileting, diapering, dressing, and other daily care needs.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children.
- Encourage positive social interactions, independence, and respectful behaviour.
- Follow the daycare’s health, safety, and supervision policies.
- Communicate professionally with educators, children, and families.
- Assist with classroom preparation, cleaning, and organization.
- Step into different classrooms and adapt to the needs of the program.

Qualifications:

- Experience working with children in a daycare, childcare, Montessori, or similar setting is an asset.




- ECE/ECA certification or relevant childcare experience is preferred.
- Current First Aid/CPR is and asset.
- Reliable, flexible, patient, and team-oriented.
- Ability to create positive relationships with children and staff.

Experience:
- with children: 1 year (preferred)

Language:
- Basic Conversational French (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
- First Aid/CPR (or in progress) (preferred)
- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
- RECE (preferred)
- Montessori Certification (preferred)
