Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in various settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home care environments. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with special needs, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.

Must have a reliable vehicle and carry 2 million liability insurance

Shifts are 11 am - 6 pm Monday to Friday

Duties

- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements.
- Maintain a clean and secure environment for clients.
- Support clients with dementia care by employing patience and understanding techniques.
- Document client progress and report any changes in condition to appropriate personnel.




- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Experience

- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred, particularly in nursing homes or assisted living settings.
- Familiarity with dementia care practices is a plus.
- Skills in medication administration and meal preparation are highly valued.
- A compassionate nature with the ability to connect with seniors and individuals requiring assistance is essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are necessary for success in this role.
