Eleven 11 Group is looking for an experienced and passionate Sushi Chef to join our team.

We are a high-end Japanese restaurant focused on quality ingredients, precise execution, beautiful presentation, and an elevated guest experience. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their craft, works cleanly and efficiently, and wants to be part of a professional and growing restaurant team.

What we’re looking for

- Previous experience as a Sushi Chef or Sushi Cook
- Strong knife skills and fish preparation knowledge
- Experience preparing nigiri, sashimi, rolls and other Japanese dishes
- Understanding of proper fish handling, storage and food safety
- Ability to maintain consistency, quality and presentation during busy service
- Organized, clean and detail-oriented work habits
- Ability to work quickly without compromising quality
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced open-kitchen environment
- Reliable, punctual and skilled
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Passion for Japanese cuisine and hospitality

Responsibilities
- Prepare and portion fresh fish and seafood
- Prepare sushi rice and other daily mise en place
- Produce nigiri, sashimi, rolls and specialty dishes according to restaurant standards
- Maintain excellent plating and presentation
- Monitor product quality and freshness
- Properly rotate,



label and store ingredients
- Keep the sushi station organized and exceptionally clean
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Assist with inventory and prep planning
- Work closely with chefs, kitchen staff and front-of-house team
- Maintain consistency during high-volume service

Compensation & Benefits $20–$30 per hour, depending on experience and skill level
