We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Auto Body Prepper / Painter to join our dynamic automotive repair team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing vehicle surfaces for painting and applying high-quality paint finishes that meet industry standards. Your expertise will help ensure vehicles are restored to their original condition with precision and care.

Duties
Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
Use hand tools and power tools to remove old paint, rust, and surface imperfections
Mix and match paint colors accurately to achieve seamless repairs
Apply primer, base coats, and clear coats with precision using spray guns or other painting equipment
Perform heavy lifting of vehicle parts or components as needed during prep and painting processes
Conduct quality inspections throughout the process to ensure flawless finishes




Maintain a clean and organized work workplace, adhering to safety protocols at all times

Qualifications
Prior dealership or automotive repair experience highly preferred
Robust mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and body components
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and spray painting equipment
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Experience with automotive prep work, sanding, masking, and painting techniques
Mechanic experience or background in automotive repair is a plus
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
