The role is a New Product Launch (NPL) Coordinator and Project Manager’s technical specialist, responsible for planning and executing activities that support successful new product launches across all sites.Job ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate well‑developed project management skills by utilizing NPL planning tools, systems and methodologies to plan, coordinate and assist the Project Manager in executing global launches at the SKU level.Serve as a senior technical specialist, advising NPL managers on complex queries, reviewing SAP master data for accuracy and integrity.Minimize and eliminate delays in the critical path; resolve or escalated issues to ensure launch readiness.Lead product launches as needed to support the global portfolio management.Generate data for product rationalization reviews on a monthly or ad‑hoc basis.Develop and maintain relationships with senior managers and peers to assess NPL requirements and manage expectations.Plan and request creation of process orders to satisfy launch requirements and pipeline fill for all new product launches.Execute changes to planned launch dates in DOSE/EPM; collaborate with R&D NPD to ensure alignment of launch dates.Review forecasts with marketing, ensure updates are transmitted to SAP promptly.Respond to complex queries from initiation through launch, providing specialized input in the definition, development and planning of new product launch activities.Participate in cross‑functional project teams to develop systems, policies, procedures and performance measures that facilitate continuous improvement of the NPL process.Coordinate project plan activities that build on the principles of “Right First Time” to achieve launch readiness status.Effectively communicate and use designated system applications to support new product launches; update and maintain allrequired databases.Liaise with management across the business to assess customer needs and gather feedback to improve service.Participate in the development of tactical plans to align current practices or process changes with corporate strategy goals.Perform all work in compliance with the Code of Conduct, Business Ethics, and related policies, as well as legal and regulatory requirements.Work as a member of a team to achieve all outcomes.Operate in accordance with the company’s Code of Conduct, Business Ethics, regulatory, compliance and safety requirements.Support the company’s values: Collaboration, Courage, Perseverance,
Passion.All other relevant duties as assigned.Job RequirementsEducationUniversity degree or equivalent in Business and/or Science related field.PMP Certification is an asset.Knowledge, Skills And AbilitiesDeveloped project management skills.Excellent oral and written English communication skills.Excellent understanding of ERP/SAP processes, supply planning and master data.Strong computer skills and knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing and project management software.Strong interpersonal communication skills.Good understanding of the organization’s business processes and supply chain.Excellent attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to relate well to internal and external customers.ExperienceThree to five years’ experience in product launch, supply planning or product development in a pharmaceutical environment.Experience in pharmaceutical or consumer packaged goods product launch process.The hiring range for this position is$72,284.85 to $101,198.79 CAD per year.
