On behalf of our Public Sector client, Wirehead has a current contract opportunity for aProject Coordinator .Client: Government | Type: Contract | Role: Project Coordinator | Term: 3 Months + extension | Pay Rate: $50 | Start date: 2-3 weeks | Location: Hybrid | ReqID: 6946ResponsibilitiesProvide assistance to project managers and project team, in coordinating, planning, communicating, and executing the delivery of core project components.General SkillsExperience collaborating with various groups to gather updates and maintaining project budgeting, progress reporting, action items, risk management updates, etc.Experience working alongside project managers to provide updates, escalate where required, identify risks, and lead project document deliverables.Demonstrated experience working in a professional environment supporting multiple project managers and critical projects.Experience developing project status reports and maintaining and monitoring status reporting logs.Experience scheduling meetings.Experience monitoring project document repository and ensuring all documents are reviewed and maintained in the repository.Desirable SkillsDemonstrated project management software skills and experience e.G.



MS Project, Planview, etc.Understanding of basic Project Management concepts (e.G. project goals, risk, scope, participant roles, planning, cost and quality management).Mandatory RequirementsEducation: University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related discipline.Experience: 3+ years’ experience working in project management applying project management methodologies.
