In this role at LGC Standards, you will assist with inventory management and be responsible for the timely distribution of laboratory supplies including glassware and solvents. About 20% of your time will involve collaborating with the Environmental Health & Safety team for hazardous waste management, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:



• Ensure timely supply of lab materials to support operations • Collect and process hazardous waste per safety regulations • Conduct daily and weekly inventory counts and reports • Wash and maintain glassware for laboratory use • Handle receiving and unpacking of incoming materials

Requirements: • Post-secondary education in Chemistry or related field preferred • Technical experience handling hazardous waste • Strong understanding of safety procedures • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills • Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 250 kg
