ITPS specializes in flight test training, engineering, aircraft modification, and consulting services for military and civilian aerospace organizations worldwide.The ITPS Engineering & Maintenance (E&M) team continually maintains and enhances the company fleet to ensure training reflects modern avionics, aircraft systems, and flight test methodologies. Modification projects range from avionics upgrades and aircraft instrumentation integration to complex aircraft modifications affecting aircraft operational and flying characteristics.The work environment is highly collaborative, hands‑on, and multidisciplinary, supporting specialized aerospace and flight test operations.Position OverviewITPS is seeking an experienced Avionics Technician AME-E to support maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, modification, and certification activities involving aircraft avionics and electrical systems.The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, maintenance,



and flight operations teams in support of specialized flight test and aerospace operations.Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repair of aircraft avionics and electrical systems in accordance with:manufacturer recommendationsregulatory requirementscompany policies and proceduresand industry standardsConduct testing and troubleshooting of aircraft avionics and electrical systemsComplete certification of work, recording of discrepancies, and aircraft documentation in accordance with regulatory and company requirementsEnsure assigned work is completed safely, efficiently, and effectivelyEnsure appropriate safety procedures and protective measures are followed during maintenance activitiesAssist with aircraft modification and avionics upgrade projectsComplete technical paperwork, inspection records, and maintenance documentationMaintain clean and organized shop, hangar, and aircraft work environmentsProvide technical guidance, mentorship, and on-the-job training to other personnel where requiredAttend training courses and technical development programs as requiredPromote safe work practices and report hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditions to managementPerform other related duties within the scope of the position as assigned by the supervisorRequirementsValid Transport Canada AME-E licencePrevious avionics maintenance experience in a commercial, military, or aerospace environmentExperience troubleshooting and maintaining aircraft avionics and electrical systemsAbility to interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and maintenance documentationStrong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standardsPrevious Aircraft Certification Authority (ACA) experience within an AMO environment is considered an assetStrong communication, teamwork, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and within multidisciplinary teamsMust be eligible to work in CanadaMust be able to pass background screening where requiredAI Disclosure: We do not use AI to evaluate applicants or make decisions during the interview process.
