Work model:HybridSalary:$35 - $55 per hour, based on experienceTasksDevelop a coordinated and integrated strategic communications plan; Develop, in consultation with the Director and key stakeholders, mission and vision statements to guide the work of the community and organization; Liaise with publicaffairs staff to ensure that the communications approach is consistent with applicable public affairs policies and procedures; Support publicaffairs staff as a subject matter expert for accurate messaging on public affairs matters; Act as contentadvisor/editor for internal and external communications products; Develop strongworking relationships with communications and public affairs personnel across relevant government departments, partners, organizations, schools, and industry; Advise the Director and senior staff on matters related to internal and external communications and media relations; Assist in the preparation of speeches on relevant organizational matters; Prepare briefing notes for public affairs leadership on communications and internal issues requiring chain-of-command and ministerial approval; Review and/or prepare news releases as requested by the organization’s staff; Write, design,and develop PowerPoint presentations on relevant topics as directed; Write, design,develop, edit, and maintain a website to keep staff informed about internal and external information; Write, design,develop, edit, and maintain an intranet page for staff communications (internal network access only); Write, edit, design, and publish newsletters aimed at staff, partners, industry, and other government departments; Write, edit, design, and publish approved backgrounders, fact sheets, and briefing materials as directed; Write, design,develop, edit, and maintain social media sites as directed, including but not limited to Meta and Instagram; Develop and maintain a lexicon, including glossary and acronym listings, for frequently used terms; Write, edit, design,
