Were a busy, active family of five with three kids, ages 7, 4 and 1. Our kids are fun, energetic, smart, and social, and were looking for someone warm, confident, organized, reliable and comfortable jumping into the rhythm of family life.
Were primarily looking for help a few afternoons/evenings per week with school pick-up and the after-school routine, as well as some light household help things like food prep/straightforward cooking and folding and putting away laundry.
Wed also love some occasional Saturday morning help, particularly when one of us is taking a child to an activity, getting a workout in, or juggling other weekend commitments. Our 4-year-old is Deaf and has bilateral cochlear implants. She communicates very well using spoken English and also understands ASL. Knowing ASL would be a huge bonus, but a willingness to learn is a must.
Ultimately were hoping to find someone who becomes a regular, trusted extra set of hands for our family, rather than just an occasional sitter
