Role Description The Team Lead is a full-time, on-site role located in Vancouver, BC, responsible for overseeing day-to-day security operations and guiding a team of security professionals. This role includes coordinating schedules, assigning duties, monitoring post coverage, and ensuring that all team members follow site procedures and company policies.
The Team
Lead supports incident response, prepares basic reports, and maintains clear communication with clients, local management, and team members regarding security activities and concerns. The role involves coaching and mentoring staff, assisting with onboarding and training,
and promoting a culture of safety, professionalism, and customer service.

Lead also contributes to continuous improvement by identifying operational issues, recommending solutions, and supporting the implementation of best practices.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory abilities, including team coordination, performance support, and conflict resolution.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, team members, and management.
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities, particularly in fast-paced or high-pressure situations.
- Organizational and time-management skills to manage schedules, documentation, and multiple priorities.
- Customer service mindset with a focus on professionalism, discretion, and community-oriented service.
- Ability to learn and apply site-specific procedures, security protocols, and basic reporting practices.
- Comfort with using standard workplace technology (e.g., email, incident reporting systems, communication devices).
- Previous experience in security, facility services, or related fields is preferred; prior lead or supervisory experience is an asset.
- Ability to stand or patrol for extended periods and meet any site-specific physical or licensing requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in security or safety are beneficial.
